Randy Hill is a creative Editor/Media Producer with extensive experience in broadcast television, feature films, and many other forms of digital media. He has expertise with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut Pro. Randy is currently editing the documentary feature, Don't Worry, I'm Fine.

 

With a career spanning over 20 years, Randy's first feature film, made while pursuing a degree in Communications at Georgia State University, had its premiere at the Atlanta Film Festival and went on to secure international distribution. His early career included jobs as Assistant Editor, then Editor on a number of independent films including the prison drama, Unshackled, The Killer Next Door, a murder mystery starring Danica McKellar, Tobin Bell and Billy Dee Williams, and DP/Editor on the documentary short, Grounded By Reality, which won the POV Award at the International Documentary Challenge. 

In 2003 his career took an unexpected turn to broadcast television as a Camera Operator/Editor on the award-winning Turner show, The Natural South. This led to work for a variety of networks including HGTV, DIY Network, MLB Network, BET, Starz, The Weather Channel, and PBS. Among his broadcast TV credits are the Emmy-winning Public Television series, Ecosense for Living, and the prime-time DIY Network show, Mega Dens.

In 2020 Randy edited the documentary feature, Hello World, which dealt with racial and gender bias in the software industry. 

Outside of film and television, Randy has done corporate/commercial work for a diverse list of clients including Delta Airlines, The Carter Center, Chick Fil A Peach Bowl, Coca Cola, The National Park Service, Georgia State University, Georgia Perimeter College, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
